This position is in-office located in our Houston office.

 

SES is seeking a Houston Contracts Administrator to join our Legal department.  

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and managing various contractual agreements, including client project contracts, master service agreements, confidentiality agreements, subcontracts, and vendor contracts.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals, project managers, business unit leaders, and officers to ensure contract compliance and alignment with company policies.
  • Update, maintain, amend, extend/renew, and terminate existing contracts as needed.
  • Support the preparation, negotiation, and execution of new or proposed contractual agreements.
  • Perform comparisons of contract versions and prepare for contract discussions and negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate contract records in electronic management systems and legal databases.
  • Communicate contract-related issues and raise questions for consideration within the scope of work and internal risk management guidelines.
  • Prioritize contract reviews based on input from the project team and/or management.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications) and/or 1-3 years of relevant experience in contract administration or negotiation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Non-Exempt Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
