We are seeking an Electrical Technician with training in the electrical or electronic field.

 

This is an onsite position. 

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and general drawings.
  • Assemble electrical systems including wiring and soldering as needed.
  • Conduct field visits to client facilities for installation and start-up of systems.
  • Perform project duties as part of a 2-to-6-person team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the electrical or electronic field or an associate’s degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or the equivalent.
  • Experience working in environments that demand safety knowledge/awareness.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
  • A hands-on, self-directed individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to follow instructions (oral and written) while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime which may include occasional work after normal business hours, weekends, or night shifts.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English.
  • Must be able to pick up and carry 50lbs regularly.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (some occasional driving may be required).
  • Ability to obtain a passport issued by the United States to travel globally and work in a various environments including refineries, power plants, offshore platforms, and industrial shops – up to 30% travel may be expected.
  • Applicants must have U.S. Person status to perform the duties of this position.
