We currently have an opportunity for a full-time position as a Quality Assurance Coordinator in our Houston, Texas office. SES’s Quality Management System is based on ISO 9001 and includes a documented system focused on customer satisfaction and continual improvement. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will help enforce and monitor processes, to ensure we provide high-quality services to our clients.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Coordinator works closely with the Quality Manager to ensure the organization is compliant to recognized industry standards for quality management systems. This includes data tracking, auditing and addressing nonconformances and resolving issues as they arise. Duties of this position are both diverse and dynamic. 

Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of quality procedures, templates, and systems
  • Internal audits to ensure projects are in compliance with the quality management system requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participating in external audits (client and certification body)
  • Tracking quality data and providing regular feedback to the Quality Manager regarding system performance
  • Monitoring and managing the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to ensure actions are completed in a timely manner with robust documentation maintained
  • Proactively work to identify process improvements related to the QMS
  • Work with practice areas to ensure compliance to internal policies and procedures
  • Help train employees on their impact to the QMS
  • Document control for outbound documents, including performing quality assurance reviews
  • Assisting with other quality assurances tasks as necessary to support the organization

Qualifications

  • Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a quality assurance/product quality and/or document control
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with ISO 9001, preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills, including strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic; able to effectively multitask and meet deadlines
  • Organized; able to work in a fast-paced environment using effective time management
  • Cooperative, adaptive and able to work effectively with a variety of work styles
