Overview

The Developer Support Analyst will be assigned to work closely with other employees in the Digital Solutions Group (DSG) as well as the corporate group to develop software and scripts to support projects involving automated simulation and data analytics. The position will interface primarily with the DSG Full Stack Developer and other DSG staff, as well as with corporate staff for internal projects.  A combination of independent learning and team collaboration will be required to successfully perform in these roles.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support existing deployed software systems to ensure user and business requirements are met.
  • Respond to customer requests for support of deployed systems to resolve issues.  Create bug reports and support tickets as needed.  Assist with software bug fixes.
  • Participate in software project management process.
  • Write software and/or scripts to implement code requirements and submit for QA review.
  • Evaluate and select new software appropriate for emerging applications as needed.
  • Prepare and present reports documenting analysis and development findings.
  • Participate in code reviews internally and externally.
  • Maintain compliance with Quality Management System processes and procedures.
  • Stay informed regarding new technologies and improvements in industry to maintain proficiency.
  • Generate documentation (e.g., user manuals, training videos, etc.) as required.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related major
  • Programming languages:  Python, C#, .Net Framework (4+), .Net Core 3.x
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Power Automate
  • Experience with AWS and /or Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in/with teams
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail required
  • Open to new / alternative software architectures and patterns
  • Comfortable exploring work tasks, seeking out answers from other team members and outside resources, and working independently when necessary
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills required
