    Stress Engineering Services is a 46 year old consulting company working across multiple industries including energy, aerospace, and medical technologies. Solving difficult problems is a core element of our business. We take on some of industries’ most difficult problems utilizing approximately 360 employees, including 215 engineers, and have some of the largest testing facilities in the industry.

    We are looking for an entry-level inside sales representative to help grow our business.

    Responsibilities

    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and email
    • Understand customer needs and requirements
    • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales personnel or project managers for further development and closure
    • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest and support outside sales and project management
    • Maintain and expand the Stress database of prospects
    • Perform effective online demos to prospects
    • Develop an understanding of Stress Engineering Services capabilities
    • Collaborate with internal practice leaders to prepare and implement the company's marketing and business development plan goals
    • Track and report the current status of potential projects, markets, customer news, and developments
    • Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our standards and correct in content and format

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Technical or business degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
    • Able to learn corporate productivity and web presentation tools
    • Able to learn Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong listening and presentation skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Must be willing and able to travel as needed
    • Active driver's license with a driving record representative of a safe driving history
    • This person needs to be a proactive starter and able to work well with the engineering community of Stress and our clients
