    Stress Engineering Services Inc. is the premier provider of engineered solutions and professional engineering consulting services across all engineering disciplines, serving clients since 1972. Approximately 80% of current Stress Engineering Services business is repeat or direct referral. We take on some of industry’s most difficult problems, utilizing approximately 360 employees, including 215 engineers. We are looking for an Office Administrator (Operations) for our Mason, OH office.


    The Office Administrator (Operations) will be expected to serve as the primary contact for the project contract workload for the office, as well as supporting additional operations, quality, project management, and administrative staff with needs, as required. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

    Some of the expected duties of this role include the following: 

    • Contract Review Support (primary):
      • Project Services Agreements / Purchase Orders
      • Subcontractor / Vendor Agreements
    • Additional Support (as needed):
      • QA program administration and support, including procedures, templates, systems, and audits
      • Client interface and meeting support
      • Report, proposal, and other technical documentation generation
      • Support for proofing, editing and formatting of documentation for clarity, style, consistency, spelling, punctuation, and conformance with QA program
      • Other technical writing and content development assignments, as required
      • Other operations and administrative tasks, as required


    • Exceptional computer skills, including strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
    • Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills required
    • Strong work ethic; able to effectively multitask and meet deadlines required
    • Organized; able to work in a fast-paced environment using effective time management required
    • Cooperative, adaptive and ability to work effectively with a variety of work styles required
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality required
    • Associate’s degree or equivalent in paralegal studies preferred
    • 5 years minimum in a corporate paralegal role preferred
    • Contract review experience preferred
    • Accounting experience preferred
    • Superior business writing and proofing experience preferred
