    SES is seeking an engineer with hands-on plant and/or offshore experience. Duties of this position will include:

    • Implement control and measurement systems
    • Field visits to client facilities for installation and start-up of systems
    • Perform project duties as part of a 2 to 6 person crew
    • Prepare complete documentation for projects including technical reports, manuals, drawings, and certifications 


    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required)
    • Strong electrical background (required)
    • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing and installation of equipment for plant and refinery applications
    • Experience with data acquisition systems
    • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and equivalent foreign standards for application in hazardous environments (required)
    • A hands-on, self-directed individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
    • Must be willing to travel globally and work in a variety of environments including refineries, power plants, offshore platforms, and industrial shops
    • Able to obtain a passport without restrictions
    • Project management experience (preferred)
    • Professional engineering (PE) licensure or the ability to become registered (preferred)
    • 2 to 5 years of industrial field experience (preferred)
    • Knowledge of interface to Distributed Control Systems (preferred)
