    Stress Engineering Services is a 45 year old consulting company working in the up, down and midstream. Solving difficult problems is a core element of our business. We take on some of industries most difficult problems utilizing approximately 360 employees, including 215 engineers and have some of the largest testing facilities in the industry. We are looking for an experienced, sales person to grow our midstream practice. The practice is well established with on-going work related to integrity management, materials, repair technology and other related issues seen in aging infrastructure as well as new construction.

    Responsibilities

    • Expand Stress Engineering Services pipeline business
    • Develop an understanding of Stress Engineering Services capabilities
    • Calling on established and new clients
    • Represent Stress Engineering Services and promote offerings at trade shows and conferences
    • Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships
    • Generate project/business opportunities and RFP's through customer contact to meet company's business plans and growth strategies
    • Collaborate with internal practice leaders to prepare and implement the company's marketing and business development plan goals
    • Track and report the current status of potential projects, markets, customer news, and developments
    • Respond to RFP's, Pre-Qualification, and give formal presentations to clients
    • Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our standards and correct in content and format
    • Solicit customer feedback through the project proposal and execution phases
    • Assist in putting together Joint Industry Programs (JIPs)

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of pipeline construction and operation, integrity management programs, In-line (ILI) inspection methods, remediation, and repair technologies
    • Strong contacts in the pipeline industry
    • Minimum 10 years of experience with sales in the pipeline industry
    • Bachelors of Science degree in an engineering field (preferred)
    • Must be willing and able to travel as needed
    • Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
    • Active driver's license with a driving record representative of a safe driving history
    • Read, write, and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions
    • This person needs to be a proactive starter and able to work well with the engineer community of Stress and our clients
